Default Every Replacement Bulb/Lamp for your RAM

OSRAM/Sylvania has a very handy and comprehensive list of the standard type numbers for lights, bulbs, etc for vehicles.

You can lookup most cars + light trucks. I pulled the numbers for my 96 Gen II Ram, to serve as a reference for same/similar trucks and also to give you an idea of how comprehensive the list is.

Handy to print out and put in the glove box.

Thanks for doing the research and posting this Johnny2Bad.
This is good info.

Can't count the number of times I tried to read those itty bitty faded numbers on a bulb...only to get the wrong one!

Nice addition to the section. However, I suggest removal of the old bulb in addition to looking it up on the website(so you have it for comparison). It leaves a little to be desired. I looked up the list for my 2000 and the reverse bulb is the wrong number(totally different bulb), and it also lists that Cornering bulb, that I'm pretty sure no Ram has. Just a heads up, that's all.

Yeah I can't argue against having a pulled sample in your hand. If there's an error we should try to correct it here in the Forum with the right bulb type #. Might not hurt to eMail Sylvania/Osram if only to see if they resond to corrections.

Do you think there could be a mid-year change issue here? Just asking because 2000 was one of those years when running changes were implemented. Is yours an early or late '00?

If we ever get to the point where we have known good info we could do a list just for 2nd Gens since it won't be that big a chart. If nothing else that link does some of the legwork for us; it's a nice start, but the usual cautions about 'net info always apply.

I hear ya, Your chart is for a 96 so there is bound to be differences. I'll pull that bulb tomorrow and post the number. As far as the cornering lamps go, none of us can help with that.

On a side note, date of MFR on my truck is 9-99.

If any of you guys do a lookup at the weblink at the bottom of my Original Post, feel free to take a few moments and make a post for your year + model Ram. You'll probably have to enter it manually in a post. My OP is really only truly valid for a 96.

Eventually maybe we can get a nice comprehensive list for all the 2gen Rams. You can never just assume that anyone like Osram/Sylvania will always have the lookup available; it would be better if we didn't have to rely on them and could get it perma here.
