What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
if gasoline I call bs...if diesel I call bs on the "lean spot"
no such thing on a diesel...
they shouldn't be dumping smoke the entire time. if they are you don't have enough air.
if ya watch my youtube video of mine, you can see it dumps smoke till the turbos spool, but as soon as they spool the smoke is gone until I shift...then its the process repeated but smoke cleans up faster yet..

quad turbos would be one of those things where you do it just to do it...
seen it done before...
and hp was low...
basically a 3 > 1 compound setup. its taking triples 1 step further to try and decrease lag...but for the cost of doing that, I would rather just run carl's setup of compounds with a supercharger...you can't get faster boost than that...he had 5psi at idle, and still had the top end power from compound twins with no lag.
expensive setup, but worth it if you can afford it.

haha you wouldn't think so if you rode in it...superchargers arent quiet. you probably just aren't used to hearing one turning higher rpms at idle than it normally would on a gasser...diesel doesn't have the same RPM range as a gasser, so we run the blowers faster at idle than a gasser would to get the most out of the blower in our limited RPM range. which translates to boost at idle which unlike a gas engine, a diesel engine can take without breaking a sweat. (cleans up injector haze)
carl has enough fuel and air for 800+hp and hes got a built auto so you know it ***** and gets!
he has the only truck I know of with compound twins and a supercharger on a p-pumped 24v.
probably the only 2nd gen 24v with that kind of power and street manners as well..

It reminded me of when I was little. I'd shove an empty coke can in between the frame and back tire on my bike and pretend it was supercharged. Vrrrrrrrrrrllll Haha
