Its what I personally describe my truck as. Has 3/4 ton suspension all around, 7 leaf springs in each side. Ive had 2500 ibs in the box so I call it the HD :P

Yea there aftermarket. Mine has them as well.
If I could just get DANA 70 axle on my rear with better springs and a Dana 66 up front I'd call it a RAM 1500XHD. Extreme heavy duty LOL. Just dreamin tho....

i have factory cab lights on my truck. but the truck didnt originally come with them. i drilled into my roof.
1500's did come with them from the factory... my buddys 99 1500 has em. just gotta get the right one.

i drove my 81 to work yesterday. then went to princess auto and bought a voltage gauge for it. on the way home i learned that the engine turns about 3400rpm at 140km/h. i just love when i hit the cement section of highway on the 410 north. it really brings the lead foot out. i also just got back from the grocery store and i must say the roads are pretty icy. a lot of that snow we got the other day melted and has now refroze as ice. it is nice and fun out
