Ordered rotors, be in around 12:30.

I bet, they're pretty crappy now.

Thinking about letting a shop do the install, I've got nowhere dry/clean to work here

I had pads, rotors, calipers, and hoses done for $597 here.

My brake pads are new, install them when I did the ball joints, hoses and everything else is good. Rotors are just THIN. I should put up a pic.

I was just posting for reference.
Since that's the case, you should def. get out cheaper then. lol

just got back from getting the motor. looks to be in GREAT shape. all the freeze plugs look new. there is 140k on it, and looks like it was in a saltless state as the manifolds dont have hardly any rust on them.

also, got the heads all ordered from odessa. theyre being ported, having new springs installed to handle the .510 lift, and theyre putting 1 piece stainless valves in them for me!

theyre getting shipped to me for 720 total!

That is a really good price for heads. Less than the cost of ONE from just about anywhere else.

yep! and theyre the new castings, so no more cracking(hopefully)!

the heads, and the stuff from the dealer will be here by the end of next week. all the rest of it... itll be here tomorrow!

You don't need brakes stewie! all they do is slow ya down!

on a side note, added a quart of oil to the rattle trap. it pisses out a quart about once every few months...
