Replaced old tires with new Firestone Destination AT LT285/75R16E (126/123R [OWL]) 32.8" Diameter

Changed oil using Pennzoil High Mileage 5w20 and a Bosch Premium Oil filter (I only go like 2500 miles on a change though)

Replaced suspension

Ordered new front bumper (stock style)

Washed the dirty thing.

Fixed the bass amplifier

Re-positioned EMS strobe lights

Still got a few more things to do, like eventually rebuild the motor. It's got 274,929 Miles on it as of 5/21/2013 11:32AM EST

Looks like a nice truck.

Do a compression test before you decide on rebuilding. These old school Magnums can go forever before a rebuild.

That they can, but I think a few of the lifters are going, and the seals are definitely going out. I get a nice big puff of white smoke upon start up, and it idles rough as rocks for about a minute, then smooths out like it never happened.

You might be able to just install new lifters and do head work.

Or you could pull it and refresh the entire thing. These Magnums are known for still having honing marks after 200k mi.

iunno, we'll see. I am probably going to buy a '99 RAM 2500 with a Cummins sooner or later. I know a guy that is selling one for a decent 3k

hardly any miles on it.

Cummins + hardly and miles = be wary. lol

From what I've seen, those engines have to be worked and driven otherwise they pitch a fit and break stuff. lol

Well, yeah, I'm well aware of this. There is NO WAY I am getting rid of my 318, hell no. That is unthinkable! I've had this truck for too long, put too many miles on it to just get rid of it. It's like my child now.
