Degreased the undercarriage and powerwashed the engine. Took the instrument cluster out to clean the inside. Still had some dog hair in it from the previous owner.

Cleaned the throttle body. Good god that thing was dirty. Underside was black and the IAC chamber had a gooey residue in it...
I looked down the intake and it's surprisingly clean. Light coating of slightly wet oil around, but nothing old looking. I think I saw a little pool of oil in the back, but I'm not sure. Maybe the plenum gasket was replaced by the previous owner?

If there is any pooling, replace it.

Well the posting on the show was wrong...so I have to wait another week. Pulled off the mudflaps to paint them and decided I really like the look...so for the show they will remain off...sans those funky screw holes. Maybe I'll fill them with super metal and redrill 'em.
Now I'm waiting on the powder coater and a couple other things to arrive.
