If you had been paying attention to my build thread you would have seen that I bought a 50mm tb from him. Thing is smooth as a babys butt and loons brand new. He completely rebiilds them.

I was mostly paying attention. Just not where you got your parts from.

I'm driving it around!!
Took a few days to replace ball joints, tie rods, drag link, track bar, new hubs, axle u-joints, steering shock, steering box and shaft (with Borgeson parts)... Got an alignment, filled her up with gas and it was all worth it! What a difference...

Tonight's initial test drive feels promising... definitely more going on under the bonnet (sorry, hood)... improved throttle response, and a more throaty sound... I'll have more feedback after I get a few tanks through it.

Installed was; Hughes FI Airgap, Holley 52mm billet throttle body, Bosch #0280155784 4 port injectors (23.7lbs/hr@49psi), all new sensors, PCV valve, Cloyes double roller timing set, water pump, Stant 180° thermostat, and starter... new plugs scheduled for over the weekend.
Sounds exciting! How hard was the air gap to install?

Drove across an intersection through bumps that most people do 10mph through.

I did 30. Hell yeah.

I think I need a new steering stabilizer though, bump-steer is starting to get more noticeable.

Drove it again - 3rd day this week. Had almost forgotten how much more comfortable a ride it is....and how well the AC works. Was 106 degrees here today.

Need to wash it tomorrow.
