Yup, I probably wouldn’t take on an upholstery job right after doing a timing chain.
Thanks! I'm unsure if the 3rd gen has the same screw pattern (looks like it) so I want a plan B

It gets dirty without me touching it

Hopefully these rough measurements will help you...

Thanks! Once we get some warm weather (higher than 20) I'm going to the u pull it to pull 3rd gen visors and a 2nd gen power seat. I appreciate you taking some measurements for me!

Default Mine are cardboard

Great work! I was absolutely stunned looking at your pictures thinking of how my 97 has cardboard visors. I have a passenger mirror but no lights and they look fine again but finding cardboard under the cloth was a shocker for me.

Mine is 98 (just before 98-1/2 release).

I’d seen pictures of 2nd Gen visor restorations and was expecting cardboard... figured that was going to be easy enough to split and glue back together.
I was a little surprised when I started to open it up and it was plastic... I did a lot of searching and found nothing on restoring these... that’s why I put up lots of pic here as I tackled it... hopefully it will prove useful to someone else.

Finally ripped off the old Magnaflow cat and y pipe that I gutted last summer and threw on the Jegs catless ypipe. Wow! Does it sound good! Took a little while mounting and tightening everything but it's a nice improvement and I can feel the engine wanting to rev much easier.
