Between showers (rain) I crawled under my truck with a tape measure, to check the length of the extension I will need for the O2 sensors, when I fit the LT headers and Y-pipe.

The new front sensor has an 18" cable, so I hope it's fine (will get a 12" extension if needed).
The rear sensor (12" cable) will need a 24" extension.

Once I have the Cat and muffler in hand, I'll know if I have the room to put a short pipe between the two, to take a sensor bung, else I'll have to put it in the back of the Cat.

 

Put 250 miles on her today.

 

Cleaned up the valve covers and air filter today. Fair amount of old dry oil on the driver side valve cover. I thinks I need a new PCV grommet.

 

Took off the running boards,, fixed some rust on them and painted them. And of course, took it off roading again.

 

I thought the PCV was on the passengers side and air breather on the drivers? or is it not a v8 gas? or were the last two sentences unrelated? just curious trying to help before you spend money on something you dont need =)

 

^the pcv is like $5 or something.


Friday went to the Pick and Pull to find steering gear box. The Rams are in the Premium lot ($4). 4 2 2wd and 4 4wd. Every single gear box was gone...and in the same manner, it appeared.

(got a call that sister (passenger) was in major car accident. driver attempted suicide/murder of her and another female. All survived.) So I had to get the Redhead gear box installed in case I need to go from NorCal all the way down to San Diego.

Out with the old.



In with the new.
