I had the fun chore of changing the water pump. Then found out that the gasket was cut during install so after I took it back apart i put some RTV on it. Now I am taking a break before I start putting everything back together again.

Though it's not as neck as it sounds, wrapping paper was used to trace for the inserts. As soon as I decide on connecting solution, I'll swap out the zip ties for tube type connectors...just have to find black or chrome. They didn't turn out too bad. Little rough around the edges, lines are not near as true as they could be. But for 10 minutes of work, waddya asspect?

Bought and installed the Superchips 3865. Honestly, I havent noticed a whole lot of difference right off the bat, but shop I bought it from says the PCM needs to relearn before the full gains are felt...

I had the shop I bought it from set it up and they said it was set for premium tune, but I hadn't plugged it in myself to check.

Good to hear. They told me a couple tanks of gas and by that time it should have learned the new peramiters. I was expecting to have my neck snap back first time I got on the throttle...

well, i found me a set of pacesetters for like 250 shipped. my question is how well does the factory applied black paint hold up to heat? and would i be better off sanding them down, and putting the duplicolor ceramic engine enamel on them?
