What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
Today I installed stainless fender flares after dremeling out any sign of rust and coating it with rust-zero....also started installing the updated 2005 badging....herculined the bed and installed bedrails on monday.....last week I Rubbed out most of the new paint, replaced the bumber ,grill, trim and did some tranny work and replaced the steering stabilizer and adjusted play....oh yeah added a touchscreen gps,dvd,mp3,bluetooth,tv...blah blah blah car stereo..and projector headlights...next is painting the rhino roll bar and installing and grinding and undercoating the rusty underbelly...fun fun!...I got projects for weeks to go.
No not pimp. I meant actual runs on the Drag strip.
Actually with the lack of the tailgate, I think it looks better, and with everything I've done to it to boost mileage; it does better with out the gate on. Not too mention, I've been hard on it. It's scratched all to hell, dented, bent, battered. Just tore up. Looks bad, so I keep it off.

OOooohhh I got you now, drag race, cool! I understand about the tailgate. I didn't know if you were one of these guys that thinks they get better mileage with it down than up. I have always left mine up and then found that "Myth Busters" proved that the gate up is better on mileage. So I was happy when I saw that.
Took a ride to the machine shop to check on progress. He's actually working on it! It was in the boring machine. He had 3 more cylinders to bore. Said the engine thats on the stand he hopes to have picked up tomorrow then mines going on
