Got my Dynomax Super turbo cat back around 2:00pm. I got it instaled by 5ish after a trip to ACE for a mini sledge and a chisle. Took it for a drive to the gas station to listen to my acomplishment

put diesel in it...Ouch....

$3.99/gal AFTER a $0.10/gal discount!

was kinda odd too... the diesel out of the pump was clear this time and not near as foamy. still smelled like diesel though. guess they just forgot the green dye, or they upped the #1 diesel content in it? who knows really... wouldn't think they would.. temps have been above freezing around here lately. was around 55* yesterday.

Changed the oil with some 10w30 Valvoline Synpower and a purolator 3001 filter, then I was going to chop the cat off and put some straight pipe in there, but it's 2 into 1 for the cat, so I might just gut it tomorrow. I have reason to believe it is clogged. Changing the plugs and wires tomorrow too

Drove it in to town, filled it up. I'm beginning to wonder what sort of fuel economy I'm getting, seems to be pretty good. going to keep a closer eye on it. I adjusted my advance mechanisms on the dizzy and added one more degree advance of base timing. What a world of a different in performance! I turned 6200RPM on the highway!

I'd say they were almost about to quit! Also swapped out my precat O2, so far, feels like a nice improvement, let's see if I get an extra MPG

Unfortunately, yes lol. I should have changed them as soon as I got the truck 5 months ago, 10K and 2 cans of seafoam. I think I read somewhere that these came stock with Champions? Not too sure hah
