I installed the redhead steering gearbox today

Had to drain and blowout all the ATF fluid that was in the new one
Then Bolted it up there

Picked it up from the Stealership. Surpise! The reason it wouldn't keep running at idle was because the IAC and TB were dirty. Got off (relatively) cheap for $125 + tax. That'll teach me to wait until spring to get under the hood...

Test trail drive went well. The steering is great, no slop. Very Pleased with the Redhead steering gearbox

Great photos, both underneath and in motion. I'm assuming this truck does double duty. If so, how's the steering response on the road under typical conditions (as compared to before)?

You should patent your paint scheme (looks great, right down to the rims). Thanks for sharing. K.
