When I had a '96 for a few months I got the biggest Slurpee cup and cut most of the top of it off. One of the little ridges on the bottom of the cup was just to perfect size to rest on the lip of the cup holder. Also had to do that because someone who owned it before I did managed to break off the little flaps that flips down when you open it.

Drove her for the first time in over a week today... it's good to be back in my truck.
Had to deal with a loose battery terminal to get her started.
And had to filler up by the end of the day... but I'm pleased that she's sniff'n around 14mpg, and not as bad is she use to be.

Fixed my power locks at the price of a pair of wire strippers and some butt connectors.

Decided to look at the wiring first before I took the door appart and got into the actuator. I found that two wires had been cut, hooked back up with butt connectors, and cut again past the connections. Just has to trace the wire and hook it back up to the right ends. SHAPOW! power locks work no more reaching across to unlock.

Now I need to figure out why the passenger window will only roll down not up from the passenger controls

Got some parts in the mail for my engine. It felt like Christmas opening them. Too bad it's too cold to work on it.

I had new brake rotors & pads installed on the front and put new pads on the rear, bled the brakes and restored braking ability on the latest acquisition. K
