It was around 100ish, I forget. I took it to the shop do it. Saved 150 from them coming out to do it. In cburg. Collison center plus? Or something like that.

^^Ham Bone, It's $195 here if they come out or you go to them. Awful long drop down hitch.......My 98's on a straight 3 way. I'm looking at a goose neck trailer now for both black farm trucks. By the way, your truck looked great in the big photo (I do think the black rims set it off and I'm partial to blue). K.

Yes it is a a long drop down. I think I ts 9 inches if I recall correctly?

Its partially to do with my truck being taller now. Stock 2500 suspension techinically. But much taller then 1500

And the fact that my trailer has super small tires on it. I need new new bad. And taller ones. 80 dollar hitch and ball beats a 400 dollar wheel and tire change. It has four. I will be refurbishing it this summer though when I switch to full time and off of school for the summer.

Thanks for the compliment. Your reg cab long bed is really good looking. Classic tough look.

Didn't think about your trailer. I'm 2.5" drop down ball on the diesel hauler and current double axle is on 15" tires. Thanks back , I baby the green one (first truck I've had that I really watch where I park). The wife calls it the "church" truck (I don't take it off road much, and don't haul anything but antique furniture in it). K.

This past week... Hub/Wheel Bearing, new caliper & mount, 2 front brake lines, new entire 4wd vacuum actuator assembly.

Still to do: Exhaust leak; governor; hitch assembly. Also really need to get some fender flares to make my wheels 'legal'.

yeah yeah yeah...rib me all you need. It's good reminder to move my disked d70 swap along. i think it's going to help that I'll regear to 4.88 rather than 5.13s. Cost should go down.... So that was the LAST drum shoe job for me. Whoever gets that axle will not have to worry about brakes at all.

Look good HB just as tincan says. I don't understand the cost difference b/t bending out the side vs. no bend straight out the back.... effin exhaust shops...

I call BS on the need for 9" hitch! lol

Good work! From your other thread...there is a part number for the CAD crap. Go to the subforum here called DIY/FAQ. Find the thread for the PARTS and Factory Service Manual. Free download of the files.

Nice choice, will look good once you get some tips on. Here's mine with 3.5" mitre cuts for an idea:

Time for an e-test so had to swap the O/R Jegs Y-pipe out for the original....then swapped back. Passed with no issues. The gov't recently changed from dyno test to 2-speed idle...much easier to pass.

Alright fellas. Here's my super small tire trailer

As you can see It needs bigger tires.

Before I got the longer drop it was binding up, and dragging its butt all over everything. Now it pulls smooth as butter.

I've already been thinking about some tips. It's weird just having regular pipes back there. Looks good
