What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
For $#!*s and giggles, I put in half a tank of 89 instead of 87 to see what it might do for MPG and I got a whopping 16.8 with a heavy foot on the highway. Usual is around 16.3-4
May try again, but with a lighter foot, if there is a better increase, I will stick with it. Also, it ran a little smoother and idled a little smoother as well.

I get an extra days commute (60miles) out of a tank, but not all of this is purely due to the octane change... you have to consider the other mods.
I stuffed a bluetooth car kit into the old truck today. Might be ripping it back out again for a warranty replacement, which sucks. If they insist upon getting all of the pieces back I'll be rocking the instrument panel again, which would p155 me right off. I'd rather pay for the ancillary pieces than do that.
When it works it's schweet and a half. Music streams nicely and sounds as good as a CD, and the call quality is very good. Not as great as with my high dollar headset, but I drove around this evening in a pounding thunderstorm that was hitting the truck so hard I could barely hear my wife on the truck speakers and she said that while she did hear some background noise it wasn't horrible. Like I give a 5h17 if callers hear a little background noise; the car kit is more convenient than putting the headset on. I've got CarHome Ultra (Android app) set up to take over when it sees that bluetooth device, so when the thing isn't acting up it's nicely automagical. Start the truck and there it is. I don't make a habit of leaving bluetooth on, so when I get around to sticking an NFC tag to the car mount I'll set it up to turn bluetooth on and the whole darn thing will be automagical, just plunk the phone into the mount and start driving. Not bad for a truck that was built before bluetooth was invented.
It's nice hearing the navigation talking through the truck speakers. It sucked before, even with the HTC One's front firing speakers, because as nice as they are they just can't compete with the truck's radio or even open windows for sound pressure level. Now the folks in the cars next to me at stops will be able to hear it, too.
All of a sudden I don't feel a need to upgrade the factory radio to the next better version with the CD player in it. Who needs a CD player and to fumble with optical disks in the era of wireless streaming?
Oh, I also finally got around to replacing those nylon instrument panel holder-upper mufkers, too. I meant to do that a long time ago but the bag stayed stapled to a shelf in the garage for about two years because it's a PITA of a job. It's easy once you're in that deep but I just don't roll the instrument panel out all that often. Might be doing it again soon if it's the only way to get warranty service for that bluetooth widget, but not because I enjoy doing it.
The best news of all: My Zman instrument cluster bezel survived the day intact. I'd hate to crack the thing. I can get another, but I can't get another from John.
Oh, wow, there's a tall black pill bottle lookin' thing here on my desk. Wonder what's in it. Hmmm. Oh, yeah. Happiness is a fresh and legal oh-zee.

^^^To all our friends above...I have yet to regret first mixing, than switching to 89 octane. I run it in the 98 and the wife, runs it in that Hemi truck.
^As for Bluetooth, the wife got really chummy and loaned her Bluetooth to a friend, and her friend loved it so much, she won't give it back. K.

Finally got my steering fixed 100%!!!
Mopar now makes a fully rebuilt box. With new internals and seals and gears. Not the cheapo aftermarket with just new seals. Cost me about 200 dollars with a dealer discount.
Put it on. Along with one new line. And it steers like a BRAND NEW truck. I literally thought I was in a 2014 ram. So smooth. It just glides.
Now to go back out and change my oil. and hunt for a slight stumble/miss I sometimes get at idle
