its 185 ft-lbs from the factory and the new spec is 175 ft-lbs.

 

Let me know how that works out. Since I have the cb (blue) and head unit (blue) I have been thinking of changing mine out for blue so they all match.

I bought a diamond plate tool box today to go on my long box. and also hosed off the excess mud on the truck where I went to the river and went offroading.. These 37s do great

Bought a new Thermostat, Water Pump, and Radiator Cap, and a couple Things of Anti-Freeze and Bars Radiator stop leak, D:

 

why not replace it? it only takes like 15 mins. max if you have a trans oil line disconnect tool, or 30 mins if you have to make one from a bottle cap. (the clear 20oz water bottle caps work best, because of their flexibility)

 

Because I'm 17 and I'm not as good as a Mechanic as my Dad, lol, I'm sure I'll end up changing Head Gaskets and the Radiator, But this is just a Temp fix so I can get back and fourth to work the next few days while my Dad is closing up camp, and I only payed $10 brand new New Water pump off my Cousin who bought one for a Truck he was fixing a while back at his shop and didn't use it, My old Jeep went through 2 water pumps in the 5 months I had it (the first one I got a junkyard) So I wanted to get the Water pump replaced early before anything happened.

 

ya, i know what you mean on thewatter pump, though replacing the rad. is easier that replaceing the water pump, theres only 2 bolts that hold it in, and itll come right out once you unhook all the hoses.

from start to finish the rad. replacement should take you aroudn 30 mins. since you say youre not as mechanically inclined as your father. but im tellin you, its really easy, pretty much just look at it like a puzzle. ill help you out a bit too.

1 start by removing the lower rad. hose. (if factory hose clamp, use channel lock plyers, replace with standard screw type hose clamp from advance)
2 unhook upper rad. hose.
3. unbolt fan shroud from rad, and push towards motor over fan.
4. unbolt top trans cooler line.
5. use trans line disconnect tool to remove lower cooler line. (theres 4 spring type clips inside that fitting that hold it on.)
6. unbolt rad. from core support.
7. pull rad. out.
8. installation is reverse of removal.

its really simple. im sure my ex girlfriend could do it, and she dont even know how to change an air filter, or even put my truck in 4wd. lol.

 

Well if its as easy as you say it is, I'll have my dad's buddy at Napa price me out one, If its cheap I'll drop it in before winter, I've gotta find some tires first though haha.
