What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
#1585
Today I received the Ram from Applings Automotive with my Polks installed. Some issues became evident with the HU. I spent a few hours fooling around with it trying to fix it and got it sounding better, but not great.
I came to the conclusion that I need an amp to power everything to make it sound well. Tomorrow I'm going to work something out with Barry and Friday have it installed.
Other then that, not much was done today. Drove it to work and back.

Oh I know the arguments all over the internet. Its like synth V. Petro oil, Dodge V. Ford. Diesel V. Gas.
Ruger V. Colt or S&W
I bought some (Lucas) a year or so ago because my flatbed GMC quit moving, the turbo 350 is very worn. Anyway put in a little bottle of Lucas and she has been fine every since, no problems whatsoever even hauling a ton of pellets at a time or out four wheelin so for the $11 Im happy with it.
Talked to my mechanic first and he said he has never heard or seen anything bad from using Lucas so I thought I would give it a try and am glad I did.
My Ram has 143xxx on it and the trans seems to shift fine but Lucas says it can extend the life of trans flued up to three times and blak blah. I figure if it does NOT void new car warentees than it probably doensnt hurt anything.
Who knows though, if my ram quits moving I might think different.
