Changed the oil. The easiest and cheapest thing I have done to my truck in a long time. Cost me a total of 40 dollars. 38 for oil and filter, 2 bucks for lift fees at the hobby shop.

mounted up the fuel injectors and thermostat to the new manifold. Going to tear out stock manifold in truck, and mount hughes plate on new manifold (if it comes today, if not today tomorrow)

yesterday (sunday) finished with the cat delete (homebrew, same as AlabamaRam) and then drove the 250 back to kewanee, got one CEL about 50 or 60 from my apartment, pulled off I80 onto Illinois 78 with 12 to go, shut down, no more CEL?

oh and this thing sounds sweet now, no cat and only a thrush glasspack to muffle it

not too hard with a 6 volt black and decker bit driver. there are 1 million+ screws and bolts to take out.

and if your dash is not cracked then it probably will be after this. mine had a big hole in it so i just snapped all the remaining pieces off.

thats the same setup i have on the camaro. it sounded like a stock car with just a straight pipe so i had to put a glass pack on. mean idle and deep tone when i get on it.
