What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
picked up a thrush welded muffler on it today, sounds alot better, and i like it better than just a pipe. a little quieter, but it deff. sounds better.
on my stepdads truck, i swapped the 9007 connectors out for 9004s as he had the housings for the 9004s with 9004s but because the connector wasnt wired the same as the bulb was his high beam indicator was always on no matter what, and there was very little light output, and with the lows beams on you couldnt see 6 feet in front of you. well thats been fixed with a 9004 connector on both sides, i also took some 2000 grit wet sand paper, and wet sanded his lights for him to clear them up, and restore them. boy what a difference. i problyspent 5 mins on each side, but hes gonna pick up some 1000 grit tommorrow so i can do that to remove more of the yellowing.
vids of my exhaust are comming soon. should be up in the next hr.
edit:
heres the vids.
a friend of mines jeep after seafoam, this was taken 15 mins into the first start up after the seafoam was poured in.

i wont be able to get another with just straight pipes as im no taking my muffler off now, but ill get a video tommorow sometime from beside the truck, and around it.
nodda thing, dad drove it to the farm (his truck was totaled remember?) b/c we had the tarp on one of the hopper trailers flop off the side due to high wind, and the trailer had 1000 bushels of dry corn on it and it was raining
all that happened today was i backed it off the concrete pad in front of the garage so my sister could back her little exploder out (why the hell she gets a spot in the garage is beyond me)
oh, and i ordered the plenum kit today

Did an oil and filter change and used Royal Purple and K&N Performance Gold, ran Seafoam through engine, cleaned and recharged K&N air filter, still have a minor problem where my truck at idle fluctuates from 700 to 1500 rpms, it doesn't do it all the time (once in a great while),if I tap the pedal it stops, haven't put my finger on it yet.
