Today is day two of ownership, so, went to a construction site, and had them load the bed down with wet topsoil.... (its been raining the last several days.) discovered that one of the hold downs on the gastank heat shield isn't anymore, so, when the truck squats, the shield rubs on the drive shaft. THAT is annoying.....

Oh well, taking it into the shop on Sunday to play. Gotta address the loose steering, and check out the brakes. Should be fun.

so if i just pull the original ones off, and put the new ones on without rotataing the cam or crank, and just rotate the sprockets to line up with the key ways on the cam and crank, and slide them right on, ill be good then?

Should be. I had the line and the dot lined up instead of them being dot to dot and I asked about it and that's what I was told to do and it turned out fine.

Don't forget to buy a replacement Heater bypass hose, chances are you will have to cut it to get it off, It's the hose that goes from the fromt of the intake to the top of the water pump. I found myself calling a cab to get to the store because of it.
