finally got my HIDS back in the truck, i was starting to think i was gonn ahve to wait til friday to get em put back in, but my replacement bulb came in today.

lastrights, what are you gonna do with your black headlight housings that you had before your projectors? would you be interested in sellin them?

 

pulled the sway bar off. gonna flex it tomorrow to see if I need limit straps.

 

FOUND A NAIL IN ONE OF MY NEW TIRES....... thats the second one....pulled it out, and its not leaking (poured water over it, no bubbles)....damn these tires are 2 months old, and have been through hell already lol...

Looking to change the oil this afternoon, after i mount the tranny back up in my buddies truck....need to check front diff fluid. and last i need to go to the dealership to get a CAD gasket.

 

I was lucky enough that the gasket was somewhat still intact. My gasket was the metal type and I just added some hightemp gasket maker to each side and it sealed up great. it may help the condition of the bolts to add some to the threads before installing. I replaced mine with grade8's One of them broke when I was removing them.

 

Just changed the heater core. and put a new upper dash on it yesterday.

 

dealer has the gasket for 6 bucks....ill just get a new one lol

Started my trip from G.R. MI. Got to about the Indiana Dunes. Truck started sputtering and downshifting or the T.C. was locking up depending on which gear I was in. Turned the O/D off and limped it all the way to West Chicago. Truck was sputtering and downshifting the whole way. Had to get here for a funeral tomorrow. Made it but not sure what the problem was. About a mile from West Chicago some guy was randomly cutting people off so I STOMPED on the gas. All of a suddon, It runs fine! Wish that a-hole was there 130 miles ago. Anyone had this problem before with the shifting and sputtering. I was thinking TPS but not sure....

 

Made a Y cable with 2 4pin trailer plugs. Now I can have my Ram head hitch light and my led light strip both working when I install the strip.


I got all my air horn parts in the mail. Just gotta find time to install them now. I keep getting told I'm gonna get arrested lol

 

You do know your suppose to use water and dish soap not just water right?
