What a great Q. On my 93D150 all I did was air up the leaking RT rear tire. But on my son Fayte's 86D150 we moved the body out of the shop and brought the bed in.Got a bit done, started the hammeringand fillin while I started welding the 18 bolt wholes left from the toolbox, bedrails, and bedliner that were removed. This truck belongs to my 15year old son,he stole it for $250 from the junk yard bad engine, burnout trans, and only missing the alt.,radiator, and ac compressor.Best of all no major body damage and only minor surface rust.

the lights do have a funky light pattern to them with lines in it, but thats ok because they're so much brighter. that probably just has something to do with the clear lenses opposed to the broken up lenses that were in there. that and they're cheap lights.
its the clear lenses with the sharp angles in the reflector my dads oem f150 lights have similar lines/pattern

i figured oem lights wouldn't have that because they're a better design. good to know.
even with the lines, its pretty nice having bright lights.

did the lights need any sort of adjustment, or were they in the same place as your oems?

i wanna get a set, but im affraid that the light will be up in the trees for the high beam.

also are you able to put hids in there if you wanted to?

Tried to take the guard off for the 4x4 cad and only managed to snap both the bolt heads off. Then tried to decided if I should just get a new actuator or spend the money and buy the posi-lock cable kit.
