Washed it, actually cleaned the interior... saw some pics of Fox Fader's awesome blue beast, and decided to try to clean my motor with a toothbrush and a rag and failed....

Well Lets see, yesterday I did a tune up in hopes of fixing a Cylinder #4 misfire trouble code I've been throwing. new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Then I did the round Air Cleaner Mod with an Edelbrock 14" Air Cleaner assembly. Today I went ahead and finished up the AC install (needed some all thread to make an s-bolt) Then I turned my attention to the sound system. Replaced the speakers in the back door with some Eclipse 3 ways then moved the stock rear speakers to the secondary speaker holes in the rear doors for the heck of it (stock wiring Eclipses are on a Clarion 4 channel amp) then I replaced the stock 6x9s only to discover the old ones i had that i replaced them with are completely screwed. GTuess I'll have to get some new ones to drop in when I get my e-bay power window switches (my drivers side is screwed)
changed engine oil and transfer case oil (AT fluid). t-case held about 1-1/2 qt. damn recessed aluminum hex plugs - i thought the fill plug was going to strip, AFTER i'd removed the drain plug and all the oil. also replaced IAC to stop surging cold idle. had replaced it in '06, and it didn't even last a year. also replaced air cleaner gasket. reset pcm.
put front strut/shocks on daughter's 4-runner yesterday. first time i'd ever used a strut spring compressor - pretty cool. replaced the rear shocks today.

Well its not today but over the weekend i did a tune up on the 1500 with the 360 and go figure i broke off 3 plugs in the block. PITA to get them out with an easy out and such. And well tomorrow or maybe thursday i get to have the fun job of tearing down my 3500 with the V10 and doing either an injector swap or in hopes to just clean them, i'm just looking to sell the truck and get a diesel. I'm sure i'll find something else to tackle while i'm at it, always do.

Hosed it down, and found out that the ACE satin black rust-stop paint is practically tough as line-x. :P I scrubbed it with a stiff bristle brush, and it didn't even scratch it. Got some Vicodin out of the glovebox
.
I've been looking, are 1.7s a better way to go over a cam if you're funds limited?

Replaced IAC. Got the black RTV for the future water pump swap; hasn't leaked at all though since 2 weeks ago, kinda mysterious there. Doesn't run much hotter than 205-210 with the stock 195 TSTAT either.
