First I put on my DF decals I just got

Then when I got bored I decided, even though I'm going to get rid of it when my new bumper gets in, to paint my brush all black again. first I started with just rustoleum rust reformer but 1 can wasn't enough to do the whole guard. So I said screw it, grabbed the two cans I have of their under coat and sprayed the guard down. The undercoating is a rubberized compound and boy, when they say to hold the can 12-16 inches away from what you're spraying, they weren't kidding. That stuff shots out crazy. Still can't hook my camera up to the puter to d/l the pic's so my cell will have to do.

After masking, before painting

first coat of just rust reformer

Final coats of the undercoating

I'll post pictures of it tomorrow, got too dark to really get a good look at it by the time I was finished.

If you can get ahold of an impact gun try that. If it won't back off, try hitting it a couple of times forward (not hard) and switching to reverse and hitting it again. Is this the axle nut or the 12pt bolts on the back of the spindle?

It's the actual axle nut. Not the inner bolts. Haven't gotten to them yet. Should I get them out first?? Plz say its don't matter Please!!!! lol I'm being turned into a tow service and my truck was actually making me money. lol

Edit: To make sure i'm not a complete retard and breaking ratchets for no reason.... Turning the nut to the front of the truck tightens and turning to the back of the truck loosens right???

I've heard that some Rams have reverse threads on the passenger side hub nut but mine didn't. Turning toward the back of the truck loosens it. You can look at the threads and see if it is reverse threads. If the threads on the left side of the stub shaft are closer to you than the right side then it is right hand threads, they will be slanted to the right.

Yea Haynes says that the driver side is reversed. Good news though. I got the nut off with the help of some heat. Now next problem is the hub assembly won't come off. I took off the three bolts holding it in. Been beatin on it for an hour with no luck. Any suggestions? I'm gonna start a new thread so I don't hijack the what did you do today thread.

004x41500, I'm looking to do the same thing. Advance has a coolant jug with a wire basket type deal that would work for the coolant but I don't know about the washer fluid...yet.

I just got back from the junk yard where I was looking for a 90-95 ford taurus/lincoln/sable with the 3.8L motor to steal the fan off of, but the cars that had the right motor in them didn't have the fan.

Look at these sites and you'll see that you can do an e-fan pretty cheap.

I changed the u-joints (front and rear) and replaced the o2 sensor. Runs a lot better now....still has a few problems; going over 90 is rough and throwing p0442 code...Will be searching for that solution tomorrow.

Anyone have an in-dash dvd player? Like it? Brand?

JB welded the bracket that holds the windows rail to the door as it broke loose. No more clanking when I shut the door or driving down the road!
