On a separate note, are the ends of your sway bar parallel to each other when they're just resting on the end links without the pins in it?
Mine is off by about 3/4" (like it is twisted) and I made the end links the same length. I put the pins in my modified end links before I tightened the nuts down on top and now I can't get the pins out.
I tightened the passenger side first since it is the low side and the drivers side got pulled down about 3/4" when I tightened the nut. I'm wondering if it is tweaked or if that is normal. I know the pressure is the reason I can't get the pins out, if I were to take the nut off the drivers side then I could disconnect the bar but that doesn't seem right to me. I'm thinking about extending that end link to fix them.

T-18...
Oh, if that were only true. These were the more serious and noticable issues. I need to get the frame, suspension, and wheel wells touched up. I can't order/buy anymore parts untll the 11th, and I still NEED exhaust tips and more clearcoat.
Then I can start on the front of the truck.
Today I got the bumper brackets from the powder coater, and the shock bushings showed up. So I pressed the new bushings in and reassembled the shocks.
I finished recoating the shock bolts and painted the two bottom bumper bolts white.

Now on to your sway bar brackets. Mine were off a bit as well, and I thought my drivers side was the issue because I have a bit of Dodge lean.
Don't feel bad, I used to have to pound mine together, something that is no fun in the summer in Arizona. A few shots of Silicone spray helped... and I found putting the drivers side together first made it easier.
Then I got a cheap little electric handy grinder and some emery cloth and smoothed out the stubs and tubes a bit until everything slid together.

I'm thinking that I might be able to stack washers under the washer that is already there on the high side to even them up. It should work.

I found a clue by 4 today.

My Key for the ignition does not fit the doors. It costs $35 for Dodge to recut the keys and theres no guarantee that it will work on the doors, or I can take it to a lock smith and they charge $100 for doing the job.. OR I can just go to auto zone and pick up 2 locks and keys for $12.99!! I dont know why I didnt think of it sooner lol.

Well, drove it to a side-job and worked all day. Felt good to finally be doing something all day. Right before time to go home, walked through a section of wall between the studs and there just happened to be a large nail sticking down... Long story short, I bled all over my seat and beat the hell out of the truck getting home just to find out it wasn;t as bad as I thought.

On a side note, still looking for camo material for the headliner. Not sure what to use.

Got a wild hair up my **** today and went ahead and wet sanded and polished my bumper...mmmmm nice!
I'll probably put some pics in my gallery tomorrow night. But I'm losing 4 days of potential work.
I need to pack for a trip to my moms for the weekend. She's had some heart surgery and I need to spell my brother for a couple of days.
My fear is she'll feel so much better she'll be able to whup my ***...which is fair since I caused most of the gray hair on her head.

Yea, there are so many rams rolling around Vegas that I'm surprised we don't have more members from there. I got my DF stickers in the truck so I hope eventually more people will join and we can get a vegas thing going ya know?

I got a shipping notice from Summit Racing today telling me that my Gibson cat-back is on the way and will be here Friday. Checking up on the UPS site just now, though, it'll be here tomorrow. I'm itching to get the new cat and exhaust in there after hearing from RM_Indy how much improvement the cat alone brings... pant pant pant. The parts, though, are going to ride in the bed to our daughter's house where, unlike the compartment complex where we're living now, I can roll up under the truck and turn wrenches.

Two more drivetrain upgrades after that and it's on to the cosmetics!

That'd be cool -- this must be the Ram capital of the West. I'm cutting out just as soon as I can and likely won't be back again, but this is definitely the right place for a Sin City Chapter of The Church of The Glorious Ram. Heck, folks from all over would just love an excuse to come to Nevada where "commercial company" is legal in most counties.

Wiper motor died a few weeks ago and I finally for around and replaced the motor yesterday. What was odd was all 4 wires had the insulation wore off right where they go into the plug?
I was hoping that after I put the new motor in my wiper delay would now work.. No luck so I still have an issue somewhere else.
With the new motor my fast wiper speed is now fast...
