seaham does your annoying little chime work ok? I had unplugged mine for a bit once cause I was workin on the truck and listening to music and had that damned ding goin off constantly. Well I forgot to plug it back in and first time it rained I had no delay wipers either. But they work fine with the chime module plugged back in. Just a thought....

T-16...
Bumper is polished to my satisfaction. It'll be clearcoated when I return.
Washed off the rear undercarrage, I'll touch it up when I get home, then the thrash fest begins.
Put a couple pics up in my garage/ galley.

See you folks on the 10th, I hope.

I got the truck used and it never chimed, so the previsions owner must have unhooked it. Is it easy to find? I'll hook it back up so I have the delay again.
Thanks for the info.... Point me in the right direction please..

well its not what I done to it but what I done with it.

found a guy with a downed out tree and put my 4lo to the test. Hooked to the base of the tree with a chain to the towing package and pulled a 25 foot oak tree about 50 yards so we could cut it up. I have to say im very impressed with the pulling power of this truck. She was slippin and a slidin but once she hooked it was over.

After that we loaded her down with a good 7 to 800 pounds of wood. barely squated drove 70 on the interstate home.

You gotta love a Ram!

take the kickpanel off below the steering wheel, the module should be on the back side of the support closer to the middle of the truck. It's a black box, probably ~5" long X 3" wide, and it should be a big green plug with a lot of wires, 15 or so. You might not notice the box at first cause its on the less visible side of the dash support, but that's where it should be.

If that is hooked up, pop out the driver side door switch and check the wires. He may have cut one of the wires going to it to kill that chime, I was just messin around with all this lately and cut a wire there that killed the whole chime module, just like unplugging it did. Hope this helps

You need to get rid of the little speaker inside the module. That defeats the chime.

I like having my chime for everything except for when the door is open with key in.... ie listening to tunes while working on something with the door open... I even tried a piece of electrical tape over the chime holes once just to quiet it down some, but it just made it sound weird and more annoying lol... so I cut the key sense wire right before it goes into the chime module and put a toggle on it up under the dash. That way I can just flip the switch to kill the chime if I'm listening to tunes... works great, but I think I'm gonna take the switch out of there and wire it up through the door switch so the dome lights don't stay on while the door is open if I don't want them to

Cut out a template for the transfer case skid plate, now I need to transfer the dimensions to Pro Cad so I can cut it out.
