haha. your plenum gasket is probably the cause. you can buy a new intake either the Mopar M1 or Hughes/Edlebrock FI AirGap... The Hughes kit http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/p...3&partid=26190

'Nother vote for blown plenum.... My truck was burning three quarts a WEEK.... and it doesn't get driven all that much.....

in about 4 months mine wont either. fi airgap here i come.

well today i placed my order for my wheel bearings, should be here sometime this week.

So far no problems with the Dodge lately. Now karma seems to have spread to the Buick.

Put in new spark plugs and while I was at it retightened a couple exhaust manifold bolts.

pulled the passenger side header off was in the process of cleaning the flange for a good seal and noticed a small pin hole where the pipe meets the flange. summit/ pacesetter brand i don't recommend buying these. My local muffler shop had to patch holes in one header when they were brand new, now come to find out both headers had pin holes from the factory. their quality control need improvement.

Well, finally got the plenum done. Got the two broken bolts blown out with a torch, re-tapped the holes, and all is well in dodgeland. Seem to have screwed up the firing order a bit when I changed the dist cap though, gotta go out and address that this morning. That should be fun......

filled it up again with good gas... thinking about switching my front tiress around so they are rotationally correct. also thinking about taking it off road tomorrow for the first time.
