Pulled a big oak tree to a friends house. Had the 5x12 trailer loaded to the rim with 15-20" diameter logs and the bed full of smaller crap.
My truck didn't like pulling it with the 3.55 gears and 33" tires. Didn't like stopping either. I'm glad it was only for 6 miles.
I also realized that I need something like a 5" drop hitch for my truck since I put the add a leafs on it, that trailer was doing a tail dive.
Got the materials to make a 350 dollar case spreader for about 35$ today. I'll get those gears in there eventually. The design on those things is stupid simple.
Washed it. Filled it up with Shell 91 octane, drove a while to get the cheapomart 91 out of the lines, mashed it to the floor and got zero pings. Awesomeness abounds.
