What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?

Would have gotten the HS 1.7's in there today but I went to town and stayed out a little too late so I just got everything out of the way of the valve covers and popped the fan/shroud off so I can stand in the engine while I do it to save my knees.
The strap wrench wasn't keeping the water pump pulley still and the parts store doesn't sell spanner wrenches so I made this
It works like a charm too.
I was down to the dowels when I ran out of gas on the welder.

Thanks.
I tried Lowes for a spanner wrench after I found out that Advance didn't sell them and after I found out that Lowes didn't have them I made a detour to the miscellaneous steel section and grabbed the first bar that looked like it would work then I was on my way.
I love having a welder at the house for random crap like that.
If you need cut off wheels or grinding wheels, Tractor supply has DeWalt cut off wheels (4 1/2" x 1/16") and grinding wheels (4 1/2" x 1/4") on sale at 10 for 10$ ending today.
It was in the ad the other day and when I went there the guy didn't know about the sale and it wasn't marked but when he looked at the ad he rang them up to check the price and sure enough they were a dollar. So I grabbed all 9 cut off wheels that were normally 1.99$ and a grinding wheel that is normally 2.99. Everyone should clean their local Tractor Supply stores out of their grinding wheels because they're so cheap.

Got the 1.7's in there, but I started too late again and I had to stop short of putting the fan/shroud/belt back on so I can get ready for work.
It was nice that I've had the valve covers and the intake off recently too because the gasket surfaces just needed a wipe with a paper towel to get them clean and there wasn't anything between the intake and the valve covers to fall into the top of the heads.
