What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?

I used Quaker state full synthetic, horsepower and 4x4 full synthetic on quite a few oil changes when I was using synthetic.
All this talk about oil reminds me that it's time for me to change mine.

Time for me to change mine too..thanks for reminding me guys! Lol. I dont use synthetic but I was told it was better for my truck..

I dont. My truck runs fine with the oil I use so I will stick with it..

True. I ran synthetic from about 120k to 150k, I wasn't impressed so I changed back. Another thing that I have heard is bad, I see no problems.

i ran mobil 1 full syn a few times valvolibne full syna few times, but ive had no problems. (knocks on wood) right now im stuck on quaker state conventional 10w30

well anyways today i wired in my cb moved my inverter, and fixed my 12v outlet, both of them actually.. ill get some pics tommorrow.

yes ive heard the rumor as well about switching back to conventional....i work on cars for a living, and have yet to see one vehicle have problems after switching from synh to conventional....

i used convention because, like stated before, it has detergants that synthetic doesnt thats needed in our engines.

i went off-roading last night....oil psi never dropped below 40 psi. I was winding on my truck at times as well.

got home last night, and i decided to check everything. There are no leaks anywhere, and my oil is still at perfect level.....which IMO is a good sign.

and also it is cmckenn that made me switch, i have lots of info from him about oils that was very interesting to me, so i decided to take his advice.

Hit 170,000 miles on the odometer and still got the stock tranny and who says dodge trannys suck

Mine is around 170k and i have my stock tranny..Idk for sure how many miles my truck has because my mileage display gets to 999 miles and resets back to 0..
