Finally put the passenger door panel back on after fixing a broken tab with a piece of aluminum and a couple tiny bolts.

Great Idea there sheriff! My drivers door panel is held on by sheet metal screws. One of the many "good ideas" by the PO...... Been looking around the local yards for replacements.

I was wanting to put two screws on the bottom (opposite the open side) but I drilled the holes too close together and the screws got in each others way so I put one on the outside of the door panel.

If you find a door panel in decent shape, don't forget about this site http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Tri...s_p/a19213.htm
The stealership wants $3.50 each for those door clips.

Just installed a new Scangauge II this morning. I'm still shopping for a decent shell. When I find one, the whole truck will be repainted (hopefully next week).

Filled up with Citgo 89 octane and as soon as I got into overdrive at about 55 mph I heard that lovely sound that's associated with a blown plenum.
So I need to go out there and set the tune back to 89 until I burn through this tank of gas.

Found a shell off craigslist. Was only $200 and included the aluminum clamps. Color is a near match, and shell fits decent. Its not specifically made for this truck (came off a Chevy), but it works. Between it and my scangauge, I'm already seeing a difference in mileage. Woot Woot!
