The Taylors do look good, I got a blue 8mm set for the Camaro. I might get a set for the truck some day but I like the lifetime warranty on the advance auto set that I have since I've used it a time or two when I melted the wires with my headers.

I've been wondering about the MAP sensor myself. It's not like you can crack the thing open to check the condition of that diaphragm inside it.

 

Installed most of my cb radio, still have to figure out how to work the damn thing and get a PA and some springs for the antennas. Its a cheap little cobra and a twin antenna setup, bought it from a friend for $50 bucks so I cant complain....but I might be gettin a better cb from a friend for nothing so we'll see what happens with that.

Finshed with the tune up today...somehow managed to reverse #5 & #7 wires. Oh well.
Anyway, things are running fine now.
Wet sanded my rocker panel and shot some primer sealer on it. Gotta wait for cooler temps to apply color.
Started sanding and priming the prerunner bar.

 

Some birds crapped on it last night, so I moved it into the garage.

 

Got up early this morning and shot color on the the rocker panel...nice!

 

Moved my trans temp sensor from trans test port to a T in the trans line. Fabbed up another Radiator flappy thing. Topped her off with trans fluid. Regrounded my E-fans.

 

Bought ngk v powers to replace my autolight 3923 getting wot ping again

 

Friday I picked up my skid plate and crossmember from the powdercoater. Bought about 50 bucks in stainless hardware to reattach them. OUCH!
Yesterday I replaced the LH outer TRE and trackbar boot for I hope the final time with urethane pieces.
Aimed My driving and off road lights.
Today I have no desire to touch, drive, or work on my truck. My arthritis and carpel tunnel are bad today. Typing this was a PITA.
It's hell getting old...have a good week everyone!

 

Battery Died

Had a doctors app this am and I got in the truck and nothing..
Jumper box was dead also

Got my work vehicle and jumped the Dodge and let it run for 5 min, I put in gear and it stuttered then stalled. Nothing on the restart.

Jumped again and let run 20 min, shut off and nothing. Put on Batt charger and the needle wiggled at 0..

Looking for a new battery online now to see where I should go locally.

The sticker on the battery reads 9/07 so I guess I almost made a full 4 years. Crap new batts are expensive now..
I'm having a crap month with anything electrical, in the house I'm not able to use my window AC this year? after 9 years for some reason when I use the AC the drain is so much it shuts the ac off after running a few minutes. tried it in a couple different rooms and outlets and the same thing. On an outlet at the other end of the house it works fine? Does same thing with 2 different ac units. Frige the ice maker crapped out and the door is broken 9 YO frig, the year old washer took a crap friday and the repair guy is coming tomorrow. CRAP..
