Not fun when you have trailer sway at 60 MPH with semi-trucks passing you.
are you sure that is only 2800 lbs? if i was to guess i would have said you have at least 8000 lbs on there. plus another 1000 lbs in the bed

it is just a guess from what i have seen loading tractor trailers. a skid with 4 drums usually weights about 1000lbs and can weight up to about 2000lbs sometimes. it is sometimes hard to tell how much something is squatting from a pic. there are so many variables. maybe the drums are not full which is why the trailer was swaying.

There is only about 15-20 gallons of water in the bottom of each barrel.
And the ones in the bed are empty.
Thats how I can figure 2800lbs.

Replaced my power steering pump and 1 return hose the only stock thing of the power steering is the return hose from the gear to cooler(and the gear but it had seals replaced).....so I shouldnt have to worry about my power steering for awhile

New belt put on yesterday and $960 on new tires today, 33x12.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's. Much quieter than the old Pro Comp's, the first light I came to I thought the truck stalled out while braking. Truck rolls with much less pedal effort at speed, liking them very much so far but thats only about 6 miles lol.

Couldnt wait for the summer to begin to start my major overhaul project.... truck couldnt fit in garage to begin with so had to use driveway and was working against the weather over the past few weeks

Steering gearbox, new bearings and gaskets
New, power steering pressure and return line hoses
rock solid steering fix
New, oil pan gasket (small oil leak)
New, exhaust manifold (broken bolt causin leak)
New, transmission filter
3 inch spacers/ dual shock mount setup (i just love the look of the dual shocks)
New, lower longer control arms
lift blocks for rear
New, Rear painted black bumper (chrome was rusted through and think the black looks sick)
noticed some rust coming along bottom of doors. decided to start the project of removing allllllll rust and completely sanding down silver trim along the entire truck.
and after repainting the trim to black i purchased Herculiner bed liner and lined the trim.
all that is left is using the herculiner on the grill guard.
its been a tiring month or so but i am extremely happy with the outcome!!!

more pics comin!

ive been a member on here for bit but this is my first post. love reading all of your guys remarks and posts! always gives me much needed info and tips!
