Lost some low end power but in the upper RPM range it pulls hard. Have to do something about the air box. Just doesn't fit well with the new intake. A sheet metal guy at work has talked me into letting him fabricate a mounting plate and air box, and a shaker hood to give it a little ram air. I haven't decided if i like that idea but he said he would do it for a 30-pack and a ride in my plane...so why not. I've been hammering out what body work it needed and am trying to decide on color scheme. That's never easy. Leveling kit is here but won't worry about that until the body is perfect.

Included is a few pics of the hughes and install.

Tried to resize these but if they are still too big I'll do it again.

That engine bay is WAY TOO CLEAN! Both before AND after!

That looks good. Good job!

Looks good. Only 102k? I have 157k.
I wish I could keep my engine bay that clean, makes things so much easier if you don't have to wipe your hands off every time you touch something.

I cleaned off my negative battery terminal yesterday, apparently it needed it because the truck started better.
I have also decided that after the plenum is done (still haven't done it yet) the tie rod ends will have to be replaced.
Speaking of which, anyone know what a good price would be to have a shop do it? No time, no tools, no work space.

2 things happened: 1) I was having trouble saving $200 out of each $600 paycheck, and I need to be saving if we plan to get hitched, and 2) her dad gave her the car she had been driving for the last year, we don't need MORE cars that are not necessary... I have 3 dodge pickups, and she has her '78 F150...

No such thing. Kind of like "having too much fun!"

I installed a hoist yesterday. The bed crossmember complicated it, so I ended up with 3 holes I didn't want, but it seems to be holding up pretty well. It's just a cheapo Harbor Freight hoist, but I'm going to weld my electric winch on top of the post and put a pulley on the end so it will lift stuff quicker than jacking the bottle jack.

Right... did you catch the part when I said we have 3 old trucks that are just for fun? Haha if it was paid off I would have kept it, but I just don't have the money to do what I want with my '95, save 1/3 of each paycheck, put 10% into retirement, pay my bills, and have a car payment/insurance bill of almost $450 a month... I don't make very much money, but I think I do pretty well budgeting it out.

I put a locking vented gas cap on my truck today.

Talked to my friend in tennessee, and he is going to help me with my gears when I go visit him this summer! That's the good news.

I started pricing the gears/locker/carrier/install kit setup I am looking for, and The best I have found for the setup I want is $1423.99... I better start saving... anyone know a good place to get better prices? I am going for 4.88's (I was looking at motive gear) a detroit out back, and an open carrier up front. With install kits. For Dana 60's.

The site I referred to is http://eastcoastgearsupply.com
