On Sunday I loaded the truck up with 1400 lbs of stuff (to move home), and yesterday I re-installed the sway bar and changed the oil. Used cheapo Lubriguard stuff and a Fram garbage-o filter. I plan to change the oil soon after I get home, so I'm not worried about using cheap stuff for the highway trip home.
When are you taking off on your trip? how long are you going "dark?"
bought a new thrush glasspack tonight. 2 1/2" i/o 28" total length. too long IMO but will do what i need it to do. hopefully gonna get it all installed tomorrow, and then take it for a test drive.

i pretty much finished installing the overhead console. it is there and the lights, temp and compass work but now after looking through even more wiring diagrams i think i might be able to get even more to work
no. i got it out of a 93 Jeep Cherokee. i don't know if i would be able to get something newer than 2000 to work in my truck. all the wiring diagrams look like they get a lot more computerized on the 2001 and newer vehicles.
thanks. i had to run a few new wires. i never made any drawing. i just had lots if wiring diagrams and a measuring tape to make sure everything was even.
