The air dams look good on some trucks but not all and I took mine off so I could paint my whole bumper when I get to that point. And god clear tailights should be illegalized on any vehicle no matter what circumstances.
^^^ Lexus IS300's came with them stock, starting the awful trend in the first place. Ever heard of them being referred to as "Altezza style?" Toyota Altezza is the Japanese Lexus IS300.
You got any details on that? Is that for paint or clearcoat or both? Clearcoat is almost completely peeled off the hood on my truck.
The only detail I have is that pretty much all 1996 vehicles, and some of the newer years on Dodge trucks had a problem with them using the wrong primer at the factory for the type of paint they were using... Or was it the right primer but the wrong paint? IDK... Either way they issued a recall like in year 2000... See if I can dig it up for you... Terms of the recall were original paint job, paint peeling (should cover your clear coat, as the clear coat peels due to the paint gassing out because it didn't cure properly because it didn't have the right primer to begin with). Here are a few TSBs i could dig up on paint issues, but there is a recall I know of, don't know the number, cause no manufacturer likes to admit to lots of bad paint jobs...
Other than that, just call up your local Dodge dealer, and ask about the recall... Mine said that there was a recall, and that they would have to ask higher authority if it was still in effect, which as far as I know from what other people have told me it is. Hope that helps!
