For me to start over or switch over to 60/70 would cost big, new lockers, new gears, new wheels plus the cost of the diff's. If I have done my homework right I should be able to do this kit for under $150 with 90% used parts, if it works then replace whatever is needed with new parts, hoping at worst all I will need new are brake rotors/ hubs. I just need to find the used right diff for parts.

What a loong saturday was;) 03 5.7l 1500Qc
After 3th cup of coffee and had to cut out 3 of lugnut lockers finally my ram on the air tires out standing on jacks./9.30am
I have pre ordered parts on bench and they all have to be on truck today because Nyc weather little ..itchy lately. anyway
First plan i have to remove my previous chip shot 4 set shocks(3 months ago installed monroe chippest shocks i found and did not worked out well!! They were too soft make excesive wheel jumps on bumps)
So i got these two Gabriel 77947 MAx controls for front its takes about 30 min. when everything ..underhand then pre ordered mopar pads are on too( make sure press caliper with reservoir tab open before loosen the bolts watch out lines inspect if any leak meausure rotors)
Next sway bar bushings was bad but linkage was good so i got Pollies Prothane 4 Red 34mm 1138 or X0009FN8FB remove frame bushings first and linkage upper bolts remove sway bar on bench some wire brush and soft sending and undercoat applied with sponge comes out nice matte black finish and 15min ready to go on. Bushing kit comes with own grease and need only 4 of the small bushings .Make sure you mark linkage bolts and reinstall same way or get a torque specs before start to job.
Now is rear shocks I decided to get Monroe 58640ST Sensa track with coils over > I liked them rear brake pads are on .
Check tire pressures and inspect your tires So i started job with cutting some off lugnuts i found nice deal on Ebay if you need lug nuts let me know i give sellers name i paid 47 for 20 set 9/16 18 chrome lug nuts for oem 20 fat fives 03 Ram1500 5.7l 4x4 Qc its fits and looks nice dont over torque!!

Your Dodge has CAI from the factory. Follow the air intake tube from the air filter, backwards. You'll see it draws it's air outside of the engine bay for: COLD AIR INTAKE! But, if its' a cool, modded look that makes you happy, then you've got half of what you want, at least.

Today, I attempted to clean the IAC, which resulted in me breaking it, $32.00 for a new one. So then figured I'd take the throttle body off and clean that good, then decide to cut the fins off the throttle body, hacksaw carefully worked, then mini file any edges. Didn't notice that much better throttle response. Did notice while TB was off, oil build up in the kegger, YES!!!!, I know!!!! Plenum gasket. Hughes has my order in. Seafoamed through brake boost hose, minimal smoking, I'm pretty good at injection cleaner every third fill up. All in all she runs like a raped ape, after up to operating temp. Even with the plenum leak.
