Starting to get her ready for fall/winter. Replaced the Napa premium upper ball-joints (no more Napa ball-joints for this truck) with Moog ball-joints, two new rear brake drums and shoes. Ordered Magnaflow 11385 stainless muffler, made apt for next wed for new stainless exhaust system. On the hunt for winter tire's and a Dana 44 intermediate shaft. I need to pull the t case and install a new front seal, needs a new front windsheild, need to get my air-bags back in.

Edit: Went to the drive-inn to watch a flick.

Tried to apply tint on rear window...that crap sticks to itself pretty good......gotta get another piece.....Maybe another pair of hands to help would make it easier!
I used to work at a tinit shop. Its easiest to lay on outside of glass and score your outside edges, then lay it on another flat smooth wet surface and make final trimmings. Then spray the inside of window with soapy water and apply tint with squeege. As long as you keep the sticky side soaked with soapy water it wont stick to itself.

On my way home from a date last night, I, being the dumbass I am, decided to floor it in the target parking lot.
IN THE RAIN. Yeah, no carnage, I just spun the tires. But both spun and they did so very well.
I love this fixed plenum.

well i would hope they would spin on WET PAVEMENT

its sad if your truck cant spin the tires on wet pavement...my little S-10 with a 2.5L 4 banger in it can do posi burnouts and its bone stock! (other than the P-track rear axle from a 98 blazer with disc brakes and ptrack in rear)

+1 on that. my 81 was doing lots of tire spinning this morning because of how much rain we have got in the last 24 hours. i think i was even able to spin my tires while doing 40km/h on the hiway while i was trying to get up to 80km/h with just how wet it is.

have you had a chance to take the 76 out and try spinning the tires with that 400?
