Correction: That first link was for the front axle. This is for the rear axle.
Cool! That would be useful on large trailer loads... Does it affect the ride during normal unloaded driving?

Jigabop the truck probably has one more load of manure to haul before it gets it's wash and then heads into the shop for tranny work...

No. When they're installed correctly they have a 3/8" to 1/2" clearance from the axle. My 4x2 sits a little too low since they're designed primarily for 4x4, so it sits right on the axle and does make my offroad ride very bumpy. I am going to put 2" spacers under the leafs to get proper clearance. But, even with the 2500#+ load, I only had maybe 2" of squat and my steering wasn't squirly like before when I put a huge load in the bed.

Just picked up another 241 to replace the busted one. Its from an auto, so i will need to swap inputs. I am thinking about pulling it all the way apart so I can rebuild it, but that costs money and I quit my job last thursday... The thought of having my truck back on the road by tonight is really tempting too...

I've decided to just clean up the new case and install it today. I have removed what was left of my old tcase, and installed my tcase saver in the new one, and it is almost ready to go into the truck.
