So I hope you all don't mind me sharing here.

I got new wheels for my truck. When I bought the truck two years ago it came with chrome rims. I hate chrome and they looked like crap all the time.
So last week I had ordered some new rims and they came in yesterday so I took the truck down and had them mounted. The truck looks ten times better now to me and the guys at the Les Schwab.

Old Rims

New Rims

What do you all think? Like the chrome better or the Black with the contrast cut?
Those wheels look damn good! Most definitely an excellent pick!

Pulled the transmission and transfer case out of my parts truck. Glad that's over.

I'm going with the black rims Wildman! Not that the new ones don't look great but the black rims go better with the white truck

As much as I like chrome, those black rims with the white edges really look great! Nice work Wildman.

I started to remove the old steering box to put the Redhead on and ran into a major issue. I have the cross frame steering brace on the truck, installed by the PO. Well the centering bearing rusted/fused itself to the sector shaft fitting and will not let go easily. I gotta take the truck to a friends shop and use a little heat. That's going to destroy the bearing, so I need to order a new one. Always something to slow down an easy swap.

Happens to me all the time. A simple 15 minute job turns into an all day ordeal because of some damn thing or another. I don't make time estimates on anything I do on this truck anymore, even the simplest of things.

Farm truck day............Aired the tires back up from 4wd excursions to our local river spillway (to 45 psi), then had the 98 loaded up with mulch for last years trees that made it through the winter, purchased a new weed eater (needed a new one of better caliber), dug up/pulled out a dead tree/plant/stump (as stewie01 used to say). I moved the car hauler out of the hay fields, as summer hay is coming on. K.
