Yessir. It was a slick road and not much stopping distance. I figure 30 mph impact. Thankful that the other guy, his wife, 2 young children, and my Fiance are all okay. I was worried I would drive right over him...

Tie up that bumper and bring it on down! We'll stripe that puppy too! (I'm thinking a pink stripe would stand out!)

Even if you find a good red fender, chances of it matching may be pretty slim. Exposure to elements thing.....

^^ Yea true. But up here paint doesn't fade nearly as badly, it might work. But it might not. We'll see. No pink stripe for me. Susan G. Komen has enough people advertising her *****.

It may not be difficult to blend color. Just finding one in good shape may be the challenge!

@Wombat: way to go there ace!

see ya gotta drive a bright white obnoxiously loud truck like mine so the D-D-D's pullin out actually see and hear you're there! shouldn't be too bad to fix it up...hit up the wrecking yards...might even find a sport hood/grill and headlights to replace those with

Well I drive a bright red obnoxiously loud truck, I thought that would be good enough. Lol. Wrecking yards it will be for the panels, Not for the head lights though. I looked at it better today and the drivers side core support body mount is twisted upward, and the passenger side fender is right up against the door. It had no impact at all. I am starting to wonder if the frame was tweaked. Still haven't heard from his insurance...

have you hit up a couple different body shops for quotes? you may want to do that before touching anything. you may even want to call your insurance company and ask them if they have a preferred body shop. this way you can get the maximum amount of cash. i know my dad got enough money from the insurance company to repair stuff that was damaged before his accident but he left the damage until after he got a couple of quote. then we fixed things up.
