Transmission was going out. Too much to repair. Got $200 less than I bought it for. I will be more careful in choosing the next one. This one was a impulse buy.

Ripped the motor apart lol. A little more to go before i can get the intake manifold off and fix the plenum!

 

didn't you make some money on the rims and tires that came with the truck? i think you might have broken even or came out a bit ahead.

 

I bought the new tires/rims, bed liner and toolbox with the money from selling those 33" tires/wheels that came on it. Otherwise I had nothing else in it. I could not justify spending the money for a trans repair when I only drove the thing once a month, if that. I still have a Dodge, so I ain't going anywhere. I might or might not get another Ram. Don't really need something that big. Like I said, it was strictly an impulse buy.

I also replaced my taillight bulbs while I was at it. The dingbat that painted the truck didn't mask them off, so they had paint on them. I had cleaned them previously but the stop lamps were getting black inside, so I went ahead and changed them.
