lets see, i bought a rough looking ram 1500, its lifted and has brand new 33' tires, i fixed the dome lights, the passenger seat slider, the rear window lock, and adjusted the front bumper... then drove it less than ten miles and hit a deer.. got to redo the bumper now, but at least the was no major damage.

Default New Cat..

Heard rattling from the exhaust.. Checked it out, had a broken hanger welded it and still heard some noise from the cat. Always thought other Rams with the same exhaust sounded better and loader then mine, now I know why. Replaced the cat with a universal and it sounds and runs alot better. It was the original so probly should have been replaced when it was still under extended warranty....

Punked one of our neighbors this morning with the old truck. Seems they were throwing a party last night, and it kept going until about 5 am this morning. At 4, I had had enough, and went out in the field fairly close to their house, and cranked the system. Threw in my warm up CD that is nothing but mid and low range frequencies, and it will literally rattle seat bolts loose
They turned down their music.

Eh, it's actually a modest build. Nothing fancy. I just like my tunes
But, thanks for the compliment.

work i did yesterday.
-re-installed: diff cover, hubs, cad unit, calipers/rotors, front driveshaft, tires.
-drained the overfilled transfer case. don't ask, i really am gonna choke the tranny guy.
-replaced cracked tie rod boots with energy suspension boots, tie rod ends still feel good.
-refilled the front diff and cad unit and cranked it up and moved it a little and get the diff fluid on the gears/bearings.

today, walked outside and saw the muddy/gear oiley crap caked onto my tires from moving the truck last night, drain pans don't always catch it all. and i wasn't expecting 1-2 quarts of atf to come shooting out at me when i went to check the fluid level in the transfer case so i didn't have a drain pan for that.
