The hemi is over that ain't it?

They aren't really truck engines though. At least not to me. They pull real hard but only when you get the revs up and drive It more like a sports car.

They also got torque converters so much Better now that it killed the manual transsmission. They're simply not needed anymore. The autos outperform them in every way

Idk, there's just something about raw, low down torque

do you mean 300 inline 6? if so you should not bad mouth them. they seem to have a fair bit of torque and get fairly good gas mileage. my dads 95 f150 has 300 with 5 speed transmission and 3.07 gears and it averages 16-20mpg with me driving.

dodge hasn't put big blocks in they 1/2 ton trucks since the 70's

I'm not bad mouthing them. They're great little engiens. They last forever. They're just big 460s lol. Or even 351s.

I Drive one at work everyday, it has good enough torque for a six cylinder. Pulls the mowing trailer well enough,

A lot of people thought ford was gonna fail when they discontinued that little engine

no. they never failed when they discontinued the engine but they started screwing over there loyal customers big time with engines that would fail and then not be willing to fix it under warranty.

i think i got a bit to much sun at Moparfest. neck is very red. took 514 pictures and i didn't even get to see all the cars. was only there for 4 hours and was pretty sore by the time i left. lots of very nice cars.

That seems right, but a bent main needle thats odd! They're so small it would be hard to bend. Factory F up maybe.

Umm, NP204 is a gear driven transfer case. And an oddball at that.

Ford used NP435 4spd's, so did dodge. they are very hard to hurt.

. The 360 had what? 345 torque? The ford with 100 more cubes should have more than 55 more ft/lbs

And Stewie I'm talking about sheer cubes haha
335 at most, but keep in mind Ford's ratings of the 460 were always very conservative, and their exhaust was extremely restrictive, just deleting the cat or muffler will bring leaps and bounds.
