During the 1st to 2nd shift it kinda "slips" than catches. Weird, no metal shavings or clutch material in the pan or fluid. New BorgWarner Governor Solenoid too...

Hmm..possibly. Either that or they're trying to destroy the fender and/or tire.

WEIRD.
I think mine does that occasionally too now that you mention it...
Was your magnet clean when you dropped the pan? Mine was, just had some light sludging in it.
