lol. i won't go that far.

you can't clean an accelerator pump. it is one of those things that need to be replaced. it is a plunger.

Fire is fun though.

It's the jet in the left primary that's clogged. It's spurting, not streaming.

so you pump in not clogged. it is the nozzle that is clogged. on holley carbs you can usually take them off separately but i think on TQ carbs you have to take the carb apart to clean them out.

Just thinking out loud here....could I pull the air horn off to get access to them?

I'm looking for the engine plate at the moment....not having much much here.

I actually sent that fella a message regarding the bog. He's thinking accelerator pump or vacuum advance. The procedure he sent me to check it is actually how I found that jet clogged.

Now the OT thread has turned into the 'ON' topic thread( although it should be in the 1st Gen ram section) Take it there please guys! The info is getting wasted here, when I'm sure a lot of people in the 1st gen section would like the info also.

actually i was just watching one of the other video's and it looks like you should be able to remove the squirter thing but you got to be careful since there is a gasket between it and the body.
