pssh just turn lol. bullets can't turn and those tanks take a while to reload 
besides if the tank has reactive armor you can cause quite a distraction shooting at it with any high caliber FMJ round...it will detonate the reactive armor. (designed to cause smart bombs and tow missiles to detonate outside of the tanks armor)

ugh. cummins section is all f*cked up on this site...
thing refuses to sort threads by latest post descending. keeps defaulting to thread name ascending... so I can never see the new posts
seems to be the only section affected by it...
