Not available at Summit anymore, so unless Merc knows where you'd probably have to get one ground to the specs from a place like Comp cams or something.

I am certain I learned a lot more once I was out of public school than I did while still in school. Some how I did manage to learn how to learn enough to pass tests and get homework done and things like that. I was in the top 5 of in my class when I went to mechanical drafting school after high school. Of course there were only about 18 people in my class.
Sometimes I like to just read technical books. Since I'm an amateur radio operator in my spare time I really need to know some pretty dry technical things.
Of course I like to refurbish the old 'boat anchor' radios too sometimes. I like the hands on part a lot better than the studying part.

So with your 1.7's max lift for you to look for is .450-.455 thats it no more. Max lift with stock springs is .480 you need to be under that a little bit.

So if I was to suggest that cam the (R/T +10) with his 1.7 rr's he would be one upset guy with me when he bent all his pushrods or worse.
Cranes part numbers.
R/T cam grind number 2030 rpm 1200-5200 part number 704121 .458 and .467
R/T+10 Grind number HR-208/292-2S1-10 rpm range 1600-5600 part number 708501* .467 and .482
