The Official 2nd Gen RAM Forum OT thread
I am working on one for you bud, the Mopar R/T cam's are too big with your 1.7 rr's.
So with your 1.7's max lift for you to look for is .450-.455 thats it no more. Max lift with stock springs is .480 you need to be under that a little bit.
Those cam's can be found under Crane Cams part numbers, they did a lot of work for Mopar back in the day for these motor's.
So if I was to suggest that cam the (R/T +10) with his 1.7 rr's he would be one upset guy with me when he bent all his pushrods or worse.
Cranes part numbers.
R/T cam grind number 2030 rpm 1200-5200 part number 704121 .458 and .467
R/T+10 Grind number HR-208/292-2S1-10 rpm range 1600-5600 part number 708501* .467 and .482

Yeah...whose your daddy now?
in regards to the cam questioning, just upgrade the damn springs and pushrods to run a larger cam. I can swap all the springs In under 2 hrs and they dont cost that much.
